A SIMPLIFIED APPROACH BASED ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
I've been passionate about golf for over 50 years, ever since my father first let me tag along on the course as a young boy.
After a major career change in my early forties, I discovered my true calling in coaching — helping golfers understand their technique, build confidence, and reach their goals.
My goal is simple: to help you enjoy your golf, unlock your potential, and achieve your best.
AN EARLY LOVE FOR THE GAME
Some of my earliest memories are of following my father around the golf course, taking a few small swings of my own, and falling in love with the game. Those early experiences shaped a lifelong passion, but it wasn’t until my early forties — after a major career change — that I truly found my calling in coaching.
Yes, we did really have wallpaper like that... and nasty coloured trousers as well!
A SIMPLE PHILOSOPHY
In my wide-ranging and considerable experience, golf coaching has become too generic and over-complicated.
By focussing on the individual and not "preaching to the masses", I keep my advice both simple and direct. There are many "quick-wins" available to the average golfer before diving into complex swing theory.
Above all, I want every golfer to feel excited about what’s possible — and reassured that they have a coach who truly understands, supports, and believes in their potential.
QUALIFIED TO HELP
Qualifications don't make a good coach, but they do provide a solid foundation of knowledge
What truly matters is how that knowledge is applied — the ability to communicate clearly, understand each player as an individual, and create an environment where learning feels simple, enjoyable, and effective.
My years of experience and PGA training have taught me that great coaching is less about showing what I know, and more about helping you discover what you’re capable of..
